Sukiya @ Kota Damansara

Sukiya (すき家) is a Japanese fast food chain that serves gyudon (beef bowl), donburi and also curry. Their signatures are the gyudon and curry. As they are partly targeting the Muslims, the food here are all halal. They just opened last November and this is their 2nd branch in Malaysia. The first branch is located at Taipan, USJ. Their concept is similar to Yoshinoya, which has been closed down here. Their food comes in 3 sizes, (S,M,L). The gyudon ranging from RM7.90 to RM13.20 tasted similar to Yoshinoya's but it would be nicer if they added more sauce.

Gyudon (S) - RM7.90

Teriyaki Chicken Mayo Rice (M) - RM9.90

Add RM2.50 for the half boiled egg

Add RM3 for the pickled veggie set, miso soup/soft drink
Add RM5 for the salad, miso soup/soft drink

Sukiya is located at Kota Damansara opposite Sunway Giza.

Somcit Thai Restaurant

Thai food is well known for its balance of taste senses of sweet, sour, spicy and salty flavours. This is what makes Thai food so distinct. One of the national aroma of Thailand is their tomyam. A unique combination of spicy and sour increases the appetite in us and is definitely an ideal start to a meal. In Somcit Thai, you'll be able to enjoy absolutely delicious and mouthwatering dishes without having to make a trip to Thailand just for their food.

Brilliant Nasi Lemak House @ Dataran Sunway, Kota Damansara

Finally found a place that serves nice Nasi Lemak! This is now my usual hangout place for the weekend. I've tried several different nasi lemaks and one of my favourite is the Nasi Lemak with Sambal stuffed Squid @ RM8.80. They have other varieties such as Nasi Lemak with Nyonya Curry Chicken which is also one of the best, Nasi Lemak with Sambal Prawns, Wantan Mee and many more. So nasi lemak lovers out there can give this place a try :)
This place is non halal as they serve pork here too.

Nasi Lemak with Rendang Chicken @ RM8.20

Hainan Tea Garden @ Viva Home

Decided to come here for a quick lunch. In my opinion, the food here is just average only. Moreover, the price is a little on the higher side. The drinks shown in the menu looks really tempting and refreshing but the taste isn't what I thought it would be. I know the pictures are for illustration purposes only but enough to disappoint me.
Hainan Green Tea
Couldn't remember the name but this tasted quite okay
